Provides statewide mental health education, advocacy, screenings, recovery resources, and peer support. Mental Health Virginia also offers information and support for individuals and families navigating mental health concerns.

National Center for PTSD – U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
Provides evidence-based information about trauma and PTSD, treatment options, coping tools, self-help resources, and guidance for individuals and families affected by trauma. Many resources are available to both Veterans and the general public.

Substance Use & Recovery Resources

Alcoholics Anonymous Northern Virginia Intergroup
Provides a searchable directory of Alcoholics Anonymous meetings throughout Northern Virginia, including in-person, virtual, and hybrid meetings.

Online Intergroup of Alcoholics Anonymous
Provides access to online Alcoholics Anonymous meetings for people who prefer or need to attend remotely, including meetings offered throughout the day in different formats and time zones.
